Lavender Cottage is a fantastic end-terraced holiday cottage located in the quaint village of Little Urswick in the South Lakes, near Ulverston, Cumbria. Lavender Cottage oozes character with features such as its’ oak beams, inglenook fireplace and original stone-flagged kitchen floor together with modern appliances and underfloor heating throughout, your stay will be extremely comfortable and full of charm all year round.
King Size Double Bedroom (sleeps 2) – With high vaulted ceilings the bedroom has a very light and airy feel that one may not always associate with a holiday cottage of this type, giving you plenty of space in which to enjoy the fantastic views across the village and to the fields beyond. The bedroom is also equipped with a large television with FreeSat and ample storage.
En-suite Shower Room – A very modern, spacious walk-in shower room that features a monsoon shower, a WC, a basin and heated towel rails.
Farmhouse- Style Kitchen – The perfectly formed kitchen incorporates all modern appliances so you can really enjoy cooking meals during your stay. The full list of amenities in the kitchen are: Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, sink.
Cosy Sitting Room – With a warming multi-fuel stove and oak beams the sitting room encompasses the cottage feel whilst offering a contemporary living experience with a large screen television with FreeSat and surround sound, a DVD player and an iPod docking station

Front Exterior – To the front of the cottage is a patio and off road parking for two vehicles.
Rear Exterior – A very good sized enclosed, lawned garden, with a delightful summerhouse and furniture, so that you can enjoy alfresco dining together with a lockable store for bikes.
Directions from Ulverston
- From Ulverston follow the A590 towards Barrow in Furness.
- After passing through Swarthmoor (approx. 1.25 miles), just after the Cross-a-moor junction, you will see a left hand turn to Great Urswick.
- Take this left turn and follow the lane passing through Great Urswick.
- On entering Little Urswick continue until you pass a row of cottages on your right.
- Lavender Cottage is the second to last one, just before the green and Daffodil Cottage in next door.
